Hi, My name is David and I'm from SE Qld, Australia. This is my first year keeping Apis bees and I am going to try to be totally treatment free. I built myself a top bar hive and can already see myself building a few more. I make the occasional YouTube video as well to document what I'm doing and how it's all going.

There's not a huge amount of bee keeping stuff on there as I am really only just beginning. Just a warning, yes I am feeding these bees while they get established, these are my first honey bees so I'm just stumbling along on the advise of the only local beekeeper I know at this point. My aim was to not feed them, but for now we have folded on this point. Treatment free is still my end goal and I'm prepared to accept that there could be a few stumbles along the way.
